Being the third pirate radio station to gain legal status through Ofcom in the UK, Kane FM is a not-for-profit community station in Guildford by the people for the people. With recruiting over 120 volunteers over the last decade and a wide range of projects in the mix including Mindwaves – the Arts Award Programme teaching young people how to produce and DJ, Kane FM has always been about empowering and working with the community.
